NOTE: Foucault’s Collège de France lectures are, along with his primary published texts, the most highly recommended. They provide further illumination into his numerous concepts with brilliant insight. This series of publications is relatively recent and yet to be complete. March 2013 will see the first lecture of the series published — The Will to Know (1970-71) — which is discussed in depth here. It is being hyped to be a game changer in Foucault studies given its use of Nietzsche and focus on Plato, Greek thought and politics.
